In samenwerking met CB|Producties bracht Stichting PIEK op donderdag 28 maart ‘The Passion’ in TriPodia Katwijk. Een verhaal van hoop en verlossing maar ook van verraad en pijn. Het geheel werd op een indrukwekkende en eigentijdse manier vertolkt door middel van drama en Nederlandse pop-muziek. Ondersteund door een live band, professioneel licht en geluid.
Het verhaal van de laatste uren van Jezus bracht meer dan vierhonderd geïnteresseerden uit Katwijk en omstreken op de been. De voorstelling begon om acht uur en eindigde rond half tien. Na de voorstelling was er de gelegenheid om na te praten en de theatergroep te ontmoeten.
Bezoekers gingen niet met lege handen naar huis, bij de uitgang ontvingen zij de ‘Hart van Pasen’ dvd – een initiatief van stichting Agapè ontwikkeld om het Paasverhaal op een begrijpelijke en toegankelijke manier door te geven aan iedereen die op zoek is.
