Vrijdag 6 juli kwam de verbeelding van de Kattukse jongeren tot leven. En dat kan natuurlijk alleen maar op het Veld van de Verbeelding. Dit jaar was het nog vetter dan vorig jaar. Het officiële gedeelte werd geopend door de Wethouder Willem van Duijn van het CDA. Na het praatje werden de partypoppers ontpopt, de cocktailbar ging van start en zo ook de tv-night. In totaal zijn er ruim 250 bezoekers gekomen daarnaast hebben er ongeveer 50 vrijwilligers zich ingezet bij het opbouwen en de uitvoer van alles.
De Kattukse soap ging in première met maar liefst drie afleveringen, dit krijgt nog een gevolg dus soapies hou Kattuk.tv in de gaten. Ook was Johnny Mambo’s weer van de partij, zij gaven een grootschalige workshop Zumba. Muziek hoort bij jongeren en zo ook bij het veld, de bands: Wanted, Misspoes en The modern Age hebben een te gek optreden gegeven met verschillende birdy’s. Deze birdy’s hebben maanden in het geheim samen met de bands geoefend, ondanks de zenuwen kwam alles goed en hebben ze allemaal gerockt! De avond werd afgesloten door een zeer gevaarlijke vuurshow. Deze gasten spuwen, vechten, zwieren en zwaaien met vuur.
Ook de rest van de week is er nog genoeg te doen met morgen vandaag (zaterdag) het street style event. Komen, komen, komen, komen dussssss….
