Rock4life Tribute to Classic Rock met ‘Another Journey’ (tribute to Journey), ‘Deo’ (tribute to Dio) & ‘Quotation’ (tribute to Status Quo).
De avond begon rond half 9. De band Another Journey startte de avond. Zelf luister ik niet heel erg veel Journey, maar de band speelde heel goed. De zanger haalde, ondanks zijn leeftijd, zijn hoge tonen nog heel goed. Soms was ik er zelfs verbaasd over. Voor de rest werden de nummers door het publiek vrijwel allemaal meegezongen.
Daarna was het de beurt aan Deo. De band begon met het welbekende nummer ‘Holy Diver’. Ze deden vrijwel alle klassiekers van Dio en ook nog wat nummers van Black Sabbath en Rainbow.
Als afsluiter speelde Quotation. Wie van de ‘oude’ hardrockers uit Katwijk kent de band Status Quo nu niet? Vanaf het begin was het een feest. Iedereen was lekker aan het dansen en meezingen.
Kortom, ik heb me deze avond echt prima vermaakt en kan niet wachten op het volgende Rock4life concert.
